IF will explain its projects in developing countries at the ICBD 2015

art. 18 registred at birth 2 CopyThe 7th International Conference on Birth Defects and Disabilities in the Developing World (ICBD7 2015) will take place in Tanzania from 21 to 24 September. Under the tittle “Birth Defects in the Post-MDG Era: Joining Hands for Prevention and Care”, the meeting will focus on the prevention of birth defects and associated disabilities, maternal, new born and child health care.

Lieven Bauwens, IF Secretary General, will participate in the symposium “Fosing on the Global Efforts for Prevention and Care” to explain IF's projects in Low- and Middle-Income Economies (LMIE)  such as S.H.I.P., incontinence management and innovative techniques like the endoscopic treatment, which are IF main activities in developing countries.

The conference will count with a number of outstanding keynote speakers from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Johns Hopkins University and the associations for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus of Tanzania and Nigeria, among others. For further information please visit the webpage: https://icbd2015.com/
