It is hard to believe that we are approaching Christmas again and that I have been President of IF for 18 months – the time has just flown by!
2014 has been a very busy year and has seen a lot of exciting developments within the IF community on a worldwide scale. In January, I was in Madrid for our Board meeting and it was very interesting to see the facilities which the Madrid Association have and their way of working. At this meeting we discussed ways in which we could extend the PUSH community and the possibility of having a Global Experts Panel to provide expertise within various domains (Quality of Life - ‘Human Rights’, ‘Social Inclusion’, ‘Services and Care’ and Prevention - ‘Causes’, ‘Genetics’, ‘Public Health’).
