Location: Shine HQ, 42 Park Road, Peterborough, PE1 2UQ
A two day residential event for a small number of adult members (with a carer/parent) to identify steps and skills towards achieving independence.
A social opportunity for members to meet new people in a relaxed and informal environment.
The event will help you to discover ways to:
- Be more independent
- Set goals, plan ahead and be more organised
- Learn basic kitchen skills - in our new purpose built, adapted kitchen!
- Handle money matters, including PIP, volunteering and working
- Look after your mental and emotional wellbeing
There will be individual opportunities to discuss health, social and housing issues, and a support programme for carers / parents.
You will also be followed up prior to and after the event by Shine staff.
Cost £95 for member and parent/carer, which includes accessible accommodation and meals. Places are limited so please book early!
